I had an idea for an RP just tonight. I've pretty much everything for it, just unsure as to how to really DO it, or even if anyone's remotely interested.
The Island of Dragons Wrote:PLOT: There is no underlying plot in this RP.
You are a student in the dragon academy situated deep in a mountainous valley in a land separated from our world by a magic barrier. You start out being a new student, but can you rise through the ranks and become a master? Various things shall stand in your way, but through courage, teamwork, and ability, you can rise through the ranks and become a true dragon tamer?
SETTING:
The dragon academy is situated in the valley of Komar, in a land that has no true name. The land is very mountainous, seeming to have just as much mountain area as flat land. There is an abundance of spread out volcanoes, hidden cave systems, and much more to explore. The only true inhabited place in the land is the Dragon Academy, but that does not count dragons, which live everywhere.
HISTORY OF THE DRAGON ACADEMY:
The dragon academy was set up in the unnamed land(Usually called the Island of dragons) by prospectors from the outside world who somehow found a way inside the magical barrier. Seeing the dragons, these prospectors settled on the land and befriended the dragons. Soon, Dragon Riding became a thing of reverence, and the Dragon Academy was born.
Now, masters from the Dragon Academy are sent out to the outside world to look for promising children, usually from the ages of eight to fifteen, to teach the ways of Dragon Riding. Of course, they usually ask the parents.

LIST OF GENERAL DRAGON TYPES:
Fire
Fire-aligned dragons are the most common kind of dragons. They are usually quite physically strong, and can breath clouds of fire and fireballs.
Earth
Earth-aligned dragons are the most physically strong of dragons, and have the bulkiest bodies, to the point that some are even unable to fly. They can control the earth, but not all elements of it. Some may control rock, others sand, and some even metal.
Water
Water-aligned dragons are easily the second-most-common kind of dragon, and are usually quite harder to care for than other kinds of dragons. Most are limited to their domains in the deep, but some are water-aligned for their breath attacks(Usually scalding water or steam.) and/or ability to breath underwater.
A sub-group of water dragons, Ice Dragons are masters off the cold. Immune to freezing temperatures, they have debilitating clouds of intensely cold fog, sometimes ridden with ice crystals.
Air
Air-aligned dragons are usually slim and insanely fast. They overwhelm enemies with their speed rather than power, and while some do not have breath attacks, others may have breath attacks of lightning or a forceful wind projectile.
Nature:
Nature-aligned dragons are generally peace-loving and kind. If they ever get in a fight, they use their abilities to use the plants to their advantage, making vines entangle their opponent, mushrooms to choke their opponent with spores, or other such plant-based things. Their breath attacks usually do no harm, instead helping various plants to grow. Most nature-aligned dragons are flightless, having much-too-small wings or no wings at all.
Light
Light-aligned dragons are one of the rarest groups of dragons. They have scales that glitter incessantly and are usually white or cream coloured. Their breath attacks are meant to blind, but when focused, usually through some organ in the dragon, they can cause burning.
Darkness
Darkness-aligned dragons are easily the rarest group of dragons. Their nocturnal nature and the fact that their scales are usually jet black have led them to be nearly unseen in the world. Their breath attacks are made from pure darkness, and can leave a person feeling depressed under best conditions, or fatally cursed under the worst.
Poison
Poison-aligned dragons are usually sickly-looking and may seem emaciated. This weak appearance is, however, used to trick others into thinking they'll be easy to defeat. Their breath attacks are clouds of poisonous gas that can leave you unable to breath, extremely nauseous, or otherwise impaired.
Healing
Healing-aligned dragons are usually kind and warm-hearted, as their name would suggest. Their breath "attacks" are able to physically heal someone, cure any kind of poisoning or sickness, or even relieve curses.
Unaligned
Unaligned dragons are very non-special dragons. Having no breath attacks, the most they can do beyond physically attacking is using screams and roars to attack the enemy's hearing.
IMPORTANT CHARACTERS:
Master Silvas:
Silvas is the master of the entire Dragon Academy. In his late seventies, he looks nothing as his age suggests, and looks like he is in his early forties. He is a stern master, but his ways have brought all of the best masters under him at the Academy.
His dragon is a female Seraphimus named Sinclaire. Seraphimae are healing-aligned dragons with the ability to remove any curse with their healing breath.
Master Barander:
Barander is the weaponry master at the academy. He is very enthusiastic about teaching, and will work with a student until he or she is perfect. This sometimes annoys the other masters, as he will sometimes go over his allotted time with the students.
His dragon is a male Pyrodancer named Sisero. Pyrodancers are a hybrid of fire-aligned and air-aligned dragons. Relentless attackers, they use their ability to breath fierballs to great affect.
Master Niera
Niera is the magic master at the academy. She is quite stoic with her students, and emphasizes safety above all else. She does not take kindly to fooling around with magic, and punishes any student who does so.
Her dragon is a male Typhon named Aeous. Typhons are hybrid Water-aligned and Air-aligned dragons. They can summon up storm clouds, and their breath is a dark raincloud with lightning sprouting from it
Sevinius Drasil
Sevinius is the groundskeeper of the academy, and cares for the students deeply, often trying to help them with their learning. He is quite a handyman too, able to fix nearly anything. His green thumb comes in handy in the huge gardens outside the academy.
His dragon is a female Leafwing named Tropina. Leafwings are nature-aligned dragons that have small, leaf-like wings that cannot aid them in flight. They have the ability to grow plants at will, like many Nature dragons, and have no breath attack.
Basically, it would be a persistent RP. Think of it as simply your characters learning at the academy, and you'll be able to make more characters and everything.
Also, I would throw in random sub-plots and antagonists and stuff.
THink of it like an Harry Potter-styled RP...WITH DRAGONS

Going to do an interest check right here, and ask how many of you guys would be interested if I brought over this RolePlay from another site. The thing is sort of Sci-Fi, and pretty open-concept, and though it got a couple sign ups at the site it is at right now, it just isn't enough, and I figured you guys would receive it a bit better anyways. I really was hoping to bring their RP section back to life, but since I don't want you guys to feel like you need to go out of your way to sign up there just to post...
Check it out, let me know what you think, and whether or not you'd be interested if I brought it to ZEJ~
EDIT: Nevermind, decided to bring it to ZEJ anyways. I feel that it isn't going to get anymore interest there, so maybe I'll just invite those who aren't currently a part of ZEJ over here. Also, this doesn't mean I'll be dropping Valley, either, so don't worry about a conflict of interests.

Well I'm thinking of a game that kind of resembles the Mafia game, but has different variables, here is a short version of what I have so far...
You win when you fulfill a certain goal, like in the Mafia game Townies win when there are no mafia and vise-versa. Unlike the Mafia game, this game is more of everybody for themselves. (unless your goal is to have a certain amount of people alive/not lost at the end.)
Roles: There are three types of roles -, +, or =. - are the "Bad guys" the + are the people who want the most people to survive or "Good guys" and = are neutral they could become either depending on what happens.
+ Normal- Wins when they get rescued, find their way out, live to the end. They don't know anyones roles.
- Traitor- Traitor wins when only one left, or left with only other traitors, they could lose if you get to the end with one survivor that is + or = . There will be one traitor per game. They don't know who anyones roles and they know the way to get one person killed/lost.
= Journalist- Wins just like normals, when they die their journal will show three names (unless there are less than four people then two), one will be a "-" and the other two will be "=" or "+". They know other journalists.
= Seer- They win like normals, they are able to see if the path is dangerous 25% of the time or safe 25% of the time.
I will post more on this. Please P.M. me if it is good and/or any way to improve it, suggestions are welcome.
Well, Shadow and I are thinking about an RP set in the same universe as the anime "Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica," which is probably the coolest magical girl anime ever. Please don't let the magical girl thing scare you or make you not want to join; I mean, look at this. (If you're interested in watching the anime after watching this video, do NOT read the description or the comments, they contain a whole bunch of spoilers and such) Now, while this is awesome, I should probably explain more about how everything works.
Now, in the world presented in Puella Magi(another name for the series), Magical Girls are created by making "contracts" with a being such as the character Kyuubey in the anime. This "contract" is rather the girl making a wish to the being, who makes it come true. The catch, however, is that the girl must become a "puella magi," or magical girl, and receives a magical object known as a "soul gem."
The duty of magical girls is to find and hunt down "witches." These witches, have powerful magic and exhude a barrier which encloses them in a surreal maze. After a while, the witch will spawn a familiar, which goes off on its own agenda, and will eventually become a copy of the witch that spawned it.
However, as the puella magi fight and use their magic, their soul gem begins to be corrupted. This can be solved, however, from what witches leave behind as they are defeated - grief seeds. Grief seeds are small objects very similar in appearance to soul gems, but without the actual gem inside. When held close to a soul gem, the grief seed absorbs the corruption of the magical gem, causing it to again become clear. Each grief seed can be used a number of times proportionate to the strength of the witch, and the corruption needed to be cleansed; if a magical girl does not cleanse her soul gem, there are dire consequences that await.
Of course, in this RP, you would only be able to sign up as a girl, and I am sorry if this disappoints anyone. However, keep in mind that it is an awesome series despite that, and an RP based on it would simply be the most fun thing to ever exist(this of course being a hyperbole but whatever). I'd just like to know how many people would be interested in it. If you have any questions, please ask, and either Shadow or I would be happy to answer them.
I think that a Egyptian or Greek god based rp kind of along the lines of Rick riordan's books except without most of the characters. I'm not sure how many people would like it and I'm kind of a noob on forums so I only want to run a single rp at a time so I'm just putting this idea out there and you can do what you want with it.
