[b]Home Island[/b]: Windfall Island

[b]Appearance[/b]: Karina is a smaller young woman of a fairly average 5’5”. Her skin is a crisp, golden colour from basking gloriously in the sun for the largest part of her day. She is fairly light-weight, clocking in at a mere 127 lbs. Her brown hair falls about to her shoulders, though she prefers to wear it in either a ponytail, or pigtails. Karina’s eyes are also a chocolate shade of brown. She is something of a trendsetting fashionista in some circles, dressing herself in attire that is casual, but using vastly different colours and styles than the ones that had been set years prior.

[b]Personality[/b]: Karina is a conflicted girl who was thrust into the spotlight upon her rising ‘stardom’ as a tailor (see: Occupation). She is timid by nature, though she has masked herself with a “media persona” in order to hide any weaknesses in personality from her cult following. She is friendly, and always willing to lend a hand with an odd job, if she feels she can accomplish it.

[b]Occupation[/b]: Tailor/Seamstress: As a rising trendsetter in the bustling island of Windfall, Karina must keep up to date with the latest fashions - and how better to do it than by taking a DIY approach to things? Karina gathers all of her own materials abroad, but it truly pays off as her work is brilliant - and fast garnering ‘media’ attention.

[b]Weapons[/b]: Karina fights off monsters abroad while she is gathering materials for her latest creations with a Sickle. This weapon has been passed down to her from her parents, who expected her to take a husband and become a farmer’s wife, so this gift would be beneficial to him in his fieldwork... Though, plans change, and Karina now wields it in combat.
[b]Equipment[/b]: Lantern, Bottle (2x, one filled with Lantern Oil), Spoils Bag, Bow and Arrows, Iron Shield.

[b]Background[/b]: Karina’s tale is one of a classic rags-to-riches type. She was born to a pair of local farmers on Windfall Island, and raised quaintly in the shadows of her three brothers, all far older than she. From a young age, Karina was a very crafty young girl with a knack for sewing and patching up clothing with almost any fabric she could get her hands on. As she grew older, and her brothers left the island in search of wives and riches, her parents grew sickly, depending on her to find a man to create a steady run of cash flow. They passed away, leaving her what little riches they had left and a sickle to Karina, hoping she would become a farmer’s wife. Instead, she followed her heart, and became something of a rising local celebrity on Windfall Island.
